About Matthew
Matthew is a disabled comedian and writer originally from the Bay Area. He likes to joke about his half-a-heart and his 3 open-heart-surgeries that paralyzed his vocal cords. He studied neuroscience in college thinking he would be a doctor until a friend pointed out he had to look away during countless scenes of Grey’s Anatomy and that “could be a problem.” He has performed stand-up in the Laugh After Dark Comedy Festival, and was recently selected for the Bergamot Festival. He’s also performed at the Comedy Store and the Hollywood Improv. Matthew co-produces and hosts a show in Los Angeles called “My Therapist Knows Your Name.”
